Shock to Shikshamitras , High Court accepts the government's decision to increase the cut off in the recruitment of 69000 assistant teachers

Lucknow :Education friends in Uttar Pradesh have received a setback from the High Court. Now the way has been cleared to appoint 69,000 assistant teachers. Relieving the decision of the Yogi government, it has justified the decision to increase its cut-off. The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court has given this decision.

With all  Ordered to complete the recruitment process within three months. Written examination was conducted on 6 January last year to recruit 69 thousand assistant teachers in the primary schools of the Basic Education Council. After the recruitment examination, the state government had fixed 65% cut-off for general category and 60% for reserved category, but the matter went to the High Court. Earlier the single bench had directed the state government to fix 45% cut-off for general category candidates and 40% for reserved category candidates, against which the government went to double bench. The court had secured the verdict after completing the hearing on March 3 this year on special appeals of other candidates, including the state government.

 About 4 lakh candidates were waiting for it in the state. After the recruitment examination conducted early last year, the state government had fixed the qualification marks in it 65% for general category and 60% for reserved category, against which the candidates had filed several petitions in single bench. Now the government will start the process.
