Rishikesh: 3 people have been arrested by the police for trying to rape a Japanese woman. Japanese woman came to #Rishikesh to learn yoga and meditation. The woman said that three yoga teachers told me obscene things, and they were also disturbed about having a physical relationship.
The Japanese woman, who hails from Muni ki Reti area, contacted the police and gave a complaint application that she was doing a yoga course at #Alakh Yoga Teacher Training School, Gali No.3 Aam Bagh, IDPL, Rishikesh and three yoga courses there I was told obscenely by the trainer, and I was also disturbed about the physical relationship. The woman also told this to her embassy in Delhi. On the complaint of the woman, an immediate case was instituted in Kotwali Rishikesh. Investigation was initiated by registering a case under Section 354 (a), 354 (d) IPC, Crime Number 176/2020.
For the arrest of the accused by the team formed today, Madhav Residency street number 3 Aam Bagh Colony IDPL Rishikesh was raided at their residence, while all the three accused were in their rooms. All three were arrested.
